AFC Asset Management Services Inc. (AFC) was founded more than 25 years ago to provide a new approach to serving the financial services needs of our clients.
Our previous experience as financial advisors within traditional brokerage houses and financial services firms made it abundantly clear that they are laden with conflicts of interests. That is why at AFC, we built a culture predicated on aligning our financial interests with those of our clients, and accepting a fiduciary responsibility - this means that we must act solely in our clients’ best interests and provide transparency regarding all fees.
As an independent SEC-registered investment advisor, AFC is free from influence in choosing investments for our clients. Our independence means that we select from a wide universe of investment options without the biases or the conflicts of interest of insurance companies or brokerage firms. Further, we only accept fees that are agreed upon upfront and will not collect commissions, hidden fees, 12b-1 fees or other investment reimbursements.
AFC’s independence is complimented by the strength and support of trusted financial services institutions and custodial firms such as Pershing Advisor Solutions, a division of Bank of New York Mellon, and MG Trust Company.
